I am SO excited to be a part of Senior Lovin' because I love the freedom and opportunities it offers me, while still giving me the opportunity to work with, and get to know, some of the most amazing and influential women in this industry! I also LOVE the idea of getting to share my tips and tricks with not only other senior photographers, but with the actual senior clients too! I wish when I was a senior in high school I would have had a little more guidance and knowledge on how to be best prepared for my senior photos! *** Photo of Tarah courtesy of Jessica Heller Photography

Hi everyone! My name is Tarah Schoof, and I am the proud owner of Tarah Schoof Photography based in the small town of New Ulm Minnesota. I have lived here my whole life, and YES I have a Minnesotan accent (whatever that is;)). I first realized my passion of photography about 5 years ago, and have then come to discover how much I love working with seniors! While I also enjoy shooting weddings, engagements, models, and boudoir, senior photography is definitely a category in which I feel I can be the most creative, and connect with a younger demographic. I am extremely outgoing, and will not let a senior feel even a little bit uncomfortable or awkward during his or her session. I like to get to know my clients on more of a personal level, and work with them to create something. When I am not going to school, working with clients, or photographing sessions, I really enjoy adventuring to knew places, makeup/fashion, meeting new creatives, laughing as much as I can, and flying down to Norfolk, VA to visit my insanely supportive boyfriend. I went to Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN for my first two years of school where I played basketball, took a photography class, and focused a lot on business credits along with my general studies courses. After that I transferred to Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN where I am finishing up a degree in Sales and Marketing, and taking a year of Professional Photography to mostly focus on learning portrait lighting as I hope to have a studio someday! (Eeek!) I am extremely excited to start attending workshops this year, and learn as much as I can to take my business to the next level. My goals is to give seniors an experience they will never forget! TSP Features ♥
